Ciao Gatto Cat Market is a one-woman atelier crafting heirloom-quality cat toys with charm, care, and eco-conscious luxury.

It all started with a simple idea: cats deserve beautiful things, too. I wanted to create toys that weren’t just safe or functional, but special—infused with story, style, and soul. Every piece is made (or designed) by me, by hand, in small batches. If it’s not handmade by me, it’s sourced with the same level of intention and integrity.

My creative process begins with materials. I spend hours sourcing natural fibers, organic catnip, and artisan-quality wool. When it comes to fabrics, I select every pattern with purpose—choosing designs that evoke a sense of quiet luxury and whimsy. And if I can’t find exactly what I’m looking for, I design my own patterns from scratch to capture the vision.

This isn’t just a shop—it’s a space for slow craft, storytelling, and sustainability. I design, source, sew, photograph, ship, manage wholesale, run the website, post on social media, and answer every customer message myself. My hands are on every part of the process, and that’s the heart of what makes this work meaningful.
